Leotards For Women In Chicago

Well, yesterday I finally got my Christmas present: an electronic book reader, Kindle 3G.

I've made up my mind read more, hence the waste as not only is my Christmas present but it will be a birthday ;-). Years ago I read a lot but I've been neglecting this good habit, especially the chapter on fiction, last year I've almost read more books of historical entertainment content. So, my purpose is to read more at the expense of devoting less time to movies and computer entertainment. And see if behavior change helps put me to board the ear before the early start is horrible when you go to bed so late.

also want to improve my poor English devote part of my time reading books in this accursed language, of people who do not know the advantages of having only five vowel sounds and everything to rule as written ;-). Carry out this purpose with the book "physical" is sometimes a latazo the dictionary or having to deal with two bulky books (yes, an alternative is the dictionary also have the book in English). Not forgetting that it is also inconvenient to have to buy books in English on the Internet and wait until you arrive, without having also certain to read a few pages if your low level language will allow you to enjoy them minimally.

But I must say that this Christmas I read in English and previous experience kindle parts of books of the series of Harry Potter and the Chronicles of Narnia on paper and although cumbersome, the experience has been positive (though less than in English, I enjoyed reading). Why I chose these books, besides being easily available on Amazon UK free shipping at a reasonable price?
  1. Because I love, engage, have fun wit points. Basic if you have to reread several times and also strengthen the audiobook listening: Do not even think a book that is a tostón even a jewel of literature (on the other hand, Harry Potter and The Chronicles of Narnia are the very best of children's literature, and brought to devote time to a text that is with something of quality.)
  2. Because I had them in English, and I are more than familiar: I've read more than once in English and seen the movies. It's very interesting to read the chapter in English and English, you learn a lot and I admire how good are the translations. Also read in English (and then try to listen) is much more affordable with a book you'd read: It is frustrating to read a book in English and it costs you follow the thread, but if you know him lose less time looking for words infrequently used because the idea it is.
  3. For books originally written for children do not usually have affected vocabulary. Your continued use of Collins ruins any reading.
  4. Because they are the books I love to read to my son and the sons of my friends, so it is a purchase that will "repay." One who was educated in the Castilian austerity always think before buying something you will use to give and if performance is going to take, when you bought the copy they read other people are subtracting the balance to be amortized
  5. ;-)
pity that the book addresses the satisfaction of "repay" loan books will lose a lot of (the possibility of loan Kindle or B & N, which is limited by the publisher of the book, is quite poor). Are disadvantages of the electronic book courtesy of DRM. And speaking of DRM and the abuse of so-called "intellectual property", though admire how well he does Amazon, is a bit sad to see a company that was born and has been selling great books treat them as if be software and not something with a tangible component, talking about "license" the right to read the book in front of the historic right to be possessed "physical" copy of which has been purchased, you can lend, sell or bequeath.

And what I value my new Kindle? because I'm very happy with the purchase: e-ink really has nothing to do with any computer screen and although the first impression is that the book is very small, very comfortable to read (yes, yes, more than reading a physical book, who did not think so try lying on its side read the last volume of Harry Potter or Lord of the Rings and compare the experience :-)). Assessing the suitability

to learn reading in English, has the advantage of the dictionary and the option to convert text to speech (yes, they should improve the software, sounds too tinny compared to the free software is for Linux or service, including MacOSX). There are many books on the Internet (yes, there are copies of "unauthorized" but also public domain) and when purchased separately just to read them without waiting to buy you arrive, you have the option of reading a few pages and assess whether your English as you will enjoy or not before checking out.

A more detailed analysis and why I have decided on the Kindle, for another day ;-).
